She Ain't Heavy, She's My Grandma


She meant the world to me.
In a way, i was glad that she left in peace.
Seeing her suffering was totally pain
Despite what she went through,
I really admired her fighting spirit
She never once said that she was going to leave us
Nor she tried to give up



I still remembered, she actually reminded us to give her medicine
(cuz we forgot heehee)
Tried hard to swallow the mi-sua and crysanthemum tea we fed her though she couldn't
Cheering us up because she didnt wana see her children and granddaughters after she saw us sobbing on the day we had the "false alarm"
I can still recall ama asking, "why are you all crying?"



When i told her to wait for me to come back the first trip i visited her,
She teared and nodded- to signal me a yes (since she had no energy to talk)
This was due to the fact that she had been breathing through her mouth for about few weeks till the day she left us
Though she couldnt move her arms anymore, She was so weak then
She still reached out to hug me, I saw her strength and quickly hugged her instead
and stayed for few hours later cuz i couldnt bear the thought of leaving her.

During the week i was back at work, i cant stop thinking of ama
Thanks to technology, i had a chance to webcam with ama
And talked to her on the phone
Seeing her smiling cheered up my day
And guess what, she did wait for me :)
I hugged her so hard when i saw her again

But I could see that she wasn't as fit as before anymore
Sad but true, we can't help it
The day came where i had to leave again
This time she was quite reluctant to let me go
So i kissed her goodbye, asking her to stay strong
She nodded once again and cried, telling me to drive home carefully
I left after she fell asleep.



And i regretted it to the maximum
Not knowing that it was the last time i get to see my ama. . . . .

The day finally came,
My sisters and I were supposed to go back on Saturday... and we did
The whole journey i could see myself hugging my grandma again,
When I reached grandma's house in the morning,
I saw my family cleaning and shifting the furnitures aside.
I ran up the stairs and saw her lying on her bed...

My legs went numb, and my brain went dead
Then i knew my ama is already gone.
I stroked her for the last time before she moved into her new home.

Perhaps she will be happier now, wherever she is, and i really pray for that.


My grandma sent me a rainbow to let me know

that she has arrived in Heaven,

and i hope she's happy wherever she is now.

BEACH DAY OUT



Yay I was at PCB!
Almost 98.9% i'll be visiting PCB when i'm back home.



Just to feel the breeze by the beach side, soothing to the maximum. Though sometimes it may smell a little stale. And also, to dip my foot in the salty water ...

then its time for fresh coconut alongwith colek!

The other day i went to wendy's bistro, located at sunway.
Very nice ambience, yet not so welcoming cuz the waitress /waiter are still new to f&b line. lame rite?
anyway, the food was awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, normally when we go to victoria station or jake's steak or san fransisco steakhouse or the ship, we will order steak rite? common, its a tradition, when you walk in a steak house u shud order steak.

Ok now, the tradition goes on, but instead of air flown beefy, its now piggy..

No more bbq beef ribs, say hi to pork ribs ... 5 star

I went back again for the weekend. short trip just to visit my grandma, who is now sick.
I pray for her fast recovery i pray for miracle.
My heart sinks when i see her condition.
But with her condition, it touches me when she still tries to reach out to us to hug us,
especially when my sister and i told her that we will visit her next weekend and told her she's gonna be okay (when we were about to leave).
If this space is a paper, it would have already been wet since the moment i started writing.



Now she's on drip



and morphin



Grandma was perfectly fine before this, she even came to KL to stay with us for a short trip.
Only after the operation she became weak, and it got worse as days passed.
I treat her like my own mother, because my grandma and (late) grandfather were the ones who took care of me ever since i was young.
My mom used to send me there when she goes to work.
Though i was young that time, memories are still clear in my mind, because they are very important to me, which is why up till now i treat them with great concern.
Imagine, i even went for my piano classes which i hated the most cuz of my grandpa, he told me ," one day, i want you to play a beautiful song for akong", and the day came. The day i told him i was going to graduate, my akong smiled like there's no tomorrow.
When grandpa passed away, I cried my hearts out because i wasn't there for him when he took his last breath.

Seeing her on the webcam, is very hard for me. And her trying her best, lifting her head up, looking back at the screen at us ... Priceless...*sigh* Why can't i just be there?
I don't mind driving back every weekend just to see her, i just hope that she recovers back and stay healthy.

I love my grandma loads, so Grandma please be strong and don't give up.

Honestly speaking, i dont' know much about foot ball. And i don't quite like to watch football. i was even forced to watch football last time cuz my frens are football kakis.

I was so thirsty ok throughout the match. Not a single soul set up their stalls there selling water, kacang, beger, french fly etc. hhehee
The training among themselves was good. I dont know much bout football, but since it was CHELSEA, they shud be good.
Mikeyip thinks its another way round, cuz he was basically promoting his MU jersey. LOL!

Since everyone's having the REAL THANG for football, i shall post up some not-so-football shoot.
